Jr Developer


Making excellent games requires solid, reliable code framework, a knack for solving tricky problems and a relentless pursuit of excellence. As a JUNIOR DEVELOPER, you’d fill the critical role of adhering to those high coding standards and assisting our development team in building high-quality, ultra-stable games that provide our players with excellent experiences on a huge variety of mobile devices and platforms.

  • Writing and maintaining reliable, reusable code for a variety of projects
  • Ensuring excellence in network performance and reliability for multiplayer projects
  • Participating in planning sessions and assessing code requirements for development sprints
  • Completing code reviews for peers on the programming team to ensure code quality
  • Documenting code standards and practices for reference by team members and management
  • Concepting and developing tools to streamline development processes for teams from multiple disciplines

Ideal Requirements

  • Eligible to work in Ontario, Canada
  • Minimum of one (1) year professional experience in a programming role
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience with Unity
  • Strong C++/C# programming skills
  • Experience with  gameplay code
  • Experience with designing and implementing User Interfaces
  • Experience with Agile game development pipelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Able to work independently and learn new skills when required
  • Able to adapt to a fluid working environment
  • Passion and enthusiasm for video games, particularly retro and mobile gaming

Bonus: Shipped at least one (1) mobile title for Android or iOS
